This can’t be the right way to think, can it? Am I just crazy in believing that intent and motive makes at least a smidgen of difference in how I view the actions of others? Yes, our support of Israel or our Iraqi sanctions may be wrong, I don’t know, but am I really that wrong for thinking that that’s somehow different than going out with the express purpose of killing a civilian?
Well, the conspiracy theorists are going to have a field day. I’ve already heard one suggestion that the U.S. Government did it themselves, so as to provide support for the military budget, and as an excuse for the feeling-neglected U.S. military to get out their guns and start to feel good about themselves again. :rolleyes:
