Maybe I have lost all of my googling skills of late… but I cannot find a tracklist to the I, Robot soundtrack.
I am mainly looking to see if the song “I, Robot” by Coheed & Cambria made the CD.
If not… I am greatly disappointed with the movie and especially the… music producer/compilers; whatever they’re called.
I thought the movie was decent, there were some great action scenes. My favorites were:
[Spoiler]The scene when the robots are assailing upon the police station, and the chief blows a couple with a shotgun in slow-mo.
Also, the portrayal of the fight in the giant chasm, with the camera spinning to illustrate the dizziness and fear of being high.
However… can someone explain the ending to me? Sonny has his dreams and makes that illustration, and then at the end his dreams come true. But what exactly is happening when the ns-5’s are going back the their place for recall; is he rising them up for a revolution… again but in peace? Is he going to be there leader? Is this a poor ploy to leave some mystery to this movie?
Any closure on this would be appreciated

Well, Amazon.com simply lists it as being composed by Marco Beltrami and the record label is Varese Sarabande. Checking on the Varese Sarabande site, they list the tracks as these:
It does not appear that there are any pop songs on this score, but it’s hard to say for sure. (Perhaps the “I, Robot” theme has the song? Can’t tell.) It appears to me, however, that this is a CD primarily of the film score by Beltrami. I’m not surprised, it looks like Beltrami had produced a lot of good work so far and I’m assuming the score is decent as well.
A lot of CD soundtracks (actually, I’m guessing most) are of the score, not of the pop songs from the movie. This might be one of those kind of soundtracks.
