I rubbed lemons on my armpits this morning

because some women in a mag said it was a good substitute for deodorant. Anyone else do this? Does it work? I had a big ol sniff just now and it smells okay, but it’s not like I’ve been doing anything too energetic.

I do like the ‘Susan Sarandon in Atlantic City’ vibe, though.

I’ve never heard of lemons in the pit before. Why not just try Pledge. Then you’d be smell-free and dust-free
A good substitute for deoderant is The Crystal Here. It is 100% pure and natural ( hah, it’s a rock!) and has no aluminum. Comes in rock or spray form. I like the spray. Much lighter. Saves energy for my brilliant posting skills.
Oh, and Tom’s of Maine has some pretty good natural deoderants.

According to George Carlin, you can put a bay leaf under each arm. It doesn’t stop body odor, but you smell like soup.

I whizzed a few lemon wedges thru my garbage disposal this morning, and it doesn’t smell sweaty so I think you’re on to something!

Plus I can dunk the wedges in my GnT when I’m done!

A rock sounds pleasantly earth-motherish though. Next stop: moon cap. I’ll keep you posted on my smell. I’m sure you’re all thrilled to hear that.

I’m rubbing lemons everywhere on my body that is susceptible to produce offending odors.

Try Watermelons! It works! Just keep a large watermelon under each arm.
