No, no…everyone knows that German is scheisse videos. Bukkake is Japanese.
Almost identical. The words around the outside weren’t in red and there wasn’t the red slash across the raelian symbol. Basically, everything in white was on the car. I’ve got a picture of it but its also got his plate in it so I’m reluctant to post it.
This makes me so proud of Austin.
Nice one.
Isaac (Woody Allen): Has anybody read that Nazis are going to march in New Jersey, you know? We should go there, get some guys together, you know, get some bricks and baseball bats and really explain things to them.
Man: There was this devastating satirical piece on that on the op-ed page of the Times. It is devastating.
Isaac: Well, a satirical piece in the Times is one thing, but bricks and baseball bats really gets right to the point.
Woman: Oh, but really biting satire is always better than physical force.
Isaac: No, physical force is always better with Nazis. It’s hard to satirize a guy with shiny boots.
– Manhattan (1979)
I see more than a half dozen different people with Nazi-style swastika tattoos every year. At least two of these folks will have the symbol on their face. These folks are not rare in the US, nor have they ever been. The Nazi party had tens of thousands of supporters in the US up until America’s entrance into WW II in late 1941, and while americans vocally supporting the Nazis diminished rapidly after Pearl Harbor, many of those individuals just went underground, they did not change their minds.
I grew up in the 60’s and 70’s in working class white neighborhoods in Milwaukee, WI and Flint and Detroit, MI. And every neighborhood I lived in had a few folks who were known for their anti-semitism and their statements about how Hitler wasn’t wrong about everything, and the whole holocaust thing was BS.
The lies that Hitler, the mighty and accursed, and his fellow Nazis, using the power of terror and of hate, sowed in the hearts of men and women are a seed that does not die and cannot be destroyed; and ever and anon it sprouts anew, and will bear dark fruit even unto the latest days.
[sub]-paraphrasing JRRT[/sub]
Hitler didn’t sow it though. Water and nurture, certainly, but the seed was already there, rooted in a history of antisemitism and intermittent progroms dating back hundreds of years.
Something I just don’t understand though is: why idolize and lionize the sad sacks whose ‘thousand year reich’ barely managed to last a decade? Why the fetish for the runners-up of WWII? Other than the natty Hugo Boss outfits.
The Worst! Especially bad when administered by the Samurai Gestapo.
Because they separated, distilled and concentrated something which had previously been an idea into an ideology.
