Last night, I was walking to my class and saw some writing on the sidewalk. This is common practice on campus, with the frats and sororities always writing announcements on the walkways in chalk. Last night was different, though. There were all sorts of anti-war slogans written in chalk on the sidewalk, but then someone else had come along and written pro-war counterpoints below all of those slogans. It made me realize how great it is to be at a university where people can openly debate politics.
I just thought I’d share this with you all, I’m not really sure why.
