I have a Do Not Disturb setting on my phone which only lets callers on my contact list through. It’s a nice feature.
I feed two neighborhood cats twice a day. The last meal is at dusk. I got the food together and was headed out when a stupid neighbor started shooting fireworks. Only wild roaming dogs scare the cats more than this. They were gone before I got outside. No dinner tonight. But a reminder that I need to feed them much earlier during the 4th of July fortnight.
Unfortunately there’s too many managers with the opinion that if you can do a hundred meter sprint in 15 seconds, you should be fine running a kilometer in two and a half minutes.
