I’m 18 years old. You’d think I have shaving my legs down pat. But I usuaully don’t. In fact, I’m grateful for winter because I don’t have to shave so often.
But I’m going swimming tomorrow, so I had to shave. Boohoo.
Miracle of miracles! I managed to shave the whole of both of my legs WITHOUT cutting myself! I’ve been shaving for at least 5 years, and it’s a rarity that this ever happens!

Mrs. Moto, when we were dating, used my Mach 3 razor to shave her legs whilst visiting my place. 
She swears by it now. Very few nicks and cuts.
YMMV, but I’m sure it’s worth a try.
Now if I can just lose the image of a shaven 18-year-old!

I refuse to believe that anyone in this day and age is still using a blade razor.
Get yourself one of the recharchargeable electric ones, and never open the band-aid box again.

I found a rechargeable razor to give me razor bumps more often than my Mach 3 Turbo(which I love :)) But, I probably just never got the hang of that electric.
this was on my face, and I’m sure the legs are a very different place to shave, though…
I use a spray shave oil called King of Shaves and a Gilette Venus razor for women and never once, with this combo, have I cut myself… and had the smoothest shaves ever. The only hair I have left is on my head :D:P
I have a Mach 3 for my face… always cut myself though.

Oh, and Merla? My GF’s 35 and still can’t shave without looking like she lost a fight with a lawnmower. Dunno if that will make you feel better, or worse.

on the OP, my wife also likes my Mach 3. Don’t think I’ve ever seen her cut herself.

Poor guys. It happens from time to time until you get used to it. I love blades though and will never go back to using an electric. My shave is sooooo much closer. And I never cut myself anymore.

I’ve been shaving for ten years, and I think I’ve nicked myself only 2 or 3 times total… And I don’t use shaving cream or lotion either. Just wet the face and shave. I used to use Gillette Sensor, but upgaded to the Mach 3. No troubles what-so-ever.
I have also had occasion to shave my legs a number of times (yes, I know…), and had just as little trouble with nicks. Got razor bumps on the fronts of my thighs though. It chaffed on my slacks something fierce…
Hmph. Don’t know what the big deal is with shaving creams and lotions. Seems pointless to me.
