What punk song had the lyric from the title of this thread? I remember my sister listening to it in the 80’s, but I don’t remember the song title or band who played it. It may have been Butthole Surfers.

It was by the Butthole Surfers, it was called “Lee Harvey Oswald” and I think it was on the “Locust Abortion Technician” album.

It is called “The Shaw sleeps in Lee Harvey’s Grave” and was originally on the “brown reasons to live” ep, which is getting to be hard to find. Also on “The Hole Truth, and Nothing Butt” album from a few years back.
