I submit that John Kerry is just as stupid as George Bush

Stupider.

Good one, Elmer.
What’s the matter? All the liberals on this board can’t take someone pointing out their candidates foibles?
I don’t really give two shits about what either candidate says or how they say it. All I care about is what they actually do in office.

Is a lump of stale tofu running for president?

Finally! A candidate I can stand behind! I, for one, am excited about this campaign! For too long our electorial choices have been limited to stale rhetoric laden candidate that are chosen by political party elites who are out of touch with the US people. But this tofu candidate changes all of that! All of us have had the opportunity to touch bean curd. Stale tofu will probably make a highly inactive president, but that’s a joyous improvement over the what we have now.

Worried about Kerry’s gun control past? Tofu will take no action on it! Worried about Bush’s tax cuts? Tofu promises no more cuts! No more raises! Worried about the US running off and getting involved in more foriegn wars? Tofu promises not to do anything concerning foreign policy! Worried that Kerry is too liberal? Tofu promises not to introduce any legislation! Finally a president that recognizes that we already have too many damn laws! Well… he might not actually recognize that as he has no cognitive abilities, but his inaction will be the same!

I was rather dreading the election before, but now I am looking forward to voting tofu!

Not in all states, but yes.

Ooooh, indeed! We’re all in a tizzy. This thread certainly has inflamed passions on our side of the aisle. We’ve quite lost control of ourselves, haven’t we? I may have to lie down for a few moments with a cool cloth over my eyes, and resume this heated debate later.

So, pointing out the obvious, that the candidate’s opponent has worse and more frequent foibles, equates to not being able to “take” it? That’s a bizarre interpretation. Nobody is writhing in pain that I can tell.

I suppose if somebody accuses Bush of marrying into money, Bush supporters should just “take it” and not mention that Kerry did the same?

(I have no idea if Laura Bush has money, just an example)

I am, but I just banged my knee on my desk.

Are you suggesting Nader is tofu? I must strongly object! Tofu promises to do nothing for the country. Nader promises to pretty much destroy its economy. Tofu has just as much political experience as Nader, has never treated its’ campaign workers like wormfood and has never acted like a pretentious hag.

But it turns out Tofu can be bought.

Tofu has also recently been seen consorting with soy sauce and raw fish. Are these the kinds of allies our country needs?!?!

I suspect any of the other candidates can be too. Just not as cheaply.

Has it occurred to anyone yet that Tofu spelled backwards is ufot?

Oh I see, that’s the kind of campaign we are going to have to face. Just having barely announced its candidacy, and already tofu is getting a smear campaign.

I suppose the fact that tofu tastes like a moldy wet sponge will be brought up next. But is it taste what we want in a president? Well no one has bothered to taste Kerry! No one has bothered to taste Bush!

Ok, so that didn’t come out right.

 And they both have four letters! Coincidence? I think not.

As a native NewMex’cun, I realize I’m terribly biased against Texas, and against all non-Neuvomexicanos in general . . . but I’d be terribly surprised if President Bush’s pasty white New England ass could handle real chili.

Not that Senator Kerry could, mind, but at least he doesn’t pretend to be yee-haw.

Oh, and I for one welcome our new stale tofu overlords.

Bring it ON!

These are just a few within the last thirty days:

Back to you, Skippy!

I can’t believe either of these morans is going to be the next CIC.

My point exactly.

:: cough cough :: :wink:
I’d at least like a commander in chief who has commanded.

I just have two more points to contribute and then I’ll go stink up someone else’s thread:

  1. Neither man is stupid. Bush is an awful public speaker, but he has done something none of us here could even dream of: He’s become the POTUS–which arguably none of here *could * do for want of connections–but more to the point, he’s gotten his way ever since, and will get reelected because he’s SMART enough to appeal to a large portion of the masses he himself has kept confused and disorganized. Pure genius. Evil? Sure, but not stupid.

  2. This thread is approaching the end of the first page and NOBODY has stepped up with a “Fucktard” or “Asshat.” What is the world coming to?
