That makes as much sense as those lobbying against gay marriages saying rainbow stickers and pink triangles pasted on your bumpers are the same moral equivalent to a guy taking a big dick up his ass, provoked or un-provoked.

I supported a few of our troops through Treats For Troops. It felt really good sending some stuff over to them. It should arrive by Christmas. It’s a little late to order anything for a soldier in time for it to reach them by Christmas, but you know, an unexpected gift in January would certainly be a welcome surprise.
I never thought of Mordor as politically progressive, to be honest. I always kind of pictured the place pretty bleak, with a lot of sulfurous emissions in the air, and with a lot of torture and such going on.

Actually I was speaking directly of the people who believe that “support our Troops” means “support GW Bush”. I’m not one of them, I do not support this war. Since it is MY age group who is over there, I have friends who are risking their lives for no reason. My husband was 2 months away from having to go over, this is personal to me.
I support them, just not their commander-in-chief. I think you can support them by donating your time, money, and whatever else to make their time there easier. Slapping a magnet or a sticker on the back of your car isn’t supporting anyone, it just makes you more socially acceptable by the Bush lemmings. It’s a fashion statement basically.
There was a fair bit of election yard sign vandalism going on from all sides during the run up to the election, as reported in the varioius local papers. Looked pretty even from what I saw.
And there’ve been a few threads here about people being subject to vandalism due to having Darwin fish on their car, although I appreciate that that’s a different arena altogther.
I think we can all agree that both sides have their idiots who would trash someone’s property because they disagreed with a sticker or sign on that property.
No group is immune from having demons within it.
Of course you realize that by posting this, by your own metric you yourself are silencing dissent. Right?
