I made it back from the Con safely.
But, it was boring. No speakers whose work I knew, no old friends there, no video room, everything too expensive.
I was depressed, & came home a day early.
I used to live in Chattanooga, & remembering the old times I had there, & will never enjoy again depresses me terribly. 
My vacation gave me the blues.
Why do you blame Chattanooga for something a bunch of assholes screwed up. It’s a beautiful city with many great things to do, just make sure the assholes don’t have anything to do with it.
You know what they say Bosda. You can never go home again…

Did you grow up there/go to HS there? I’m a Notre Dame (1991) graduate myself - spent the first 17 years of my life in Chattanooga.
Anyway, I’m glad you made it over Monteagle fine and I’m sorry your vacation sucked.
