To some it may not be nothing but this was my first surgery at age 46. My miniscus was pretty messed up but the doc says all went well. I am off my feet now for a few days. Now to try to enjoy my 3 weeks away from work.
Congrats Racer - I had surgery on my knee after a nasty motorsycle accident. It was great my wife is a sap and basically just took care of me for two weeks. I had a rough time walking for a good two months, but now - 13 years later - It’s like nothing happened at all!!

My mother told me a story about a guy who had same day surgery. Someone was supposed to stay with him in his apartment the day he came home - the drugs they gave him make you goofy and have an amnesia effect. Unfortunately, he had no one to take care of him all day, so he stayed by himself.
A few weeks later, they delivered the bull he bought on ebay that day. :eek: Where do you put a bull when you live in an apartment? Hmmm. Guess he didn’t think that purchase all the way through.
I’m glad you’re out of surgery and feeling well. Please stay off ebay for a day or so. 
Naah, it’s not nothing – getting through any surgery is an accomplishment. (Not surviving it, necessarily, just getting through in one piece.) I’ve been there several times, though not for a knee.
