OK I wake up today and there is Google and the home page looks a bit off. Then I go into search results and the left side is now a list of choices, the center column is the results and to the far right the ads.
Not liking it really but I guess I’ll get used to it

Apparently, Google are being assholes and are testing a new search interface. It’s a horribly annoying layout, but clearing your cookies and cache should get everything back to normal.
Looks like what they’ve had for Google News forever. I like it - it makes it easier to narrow a search down by date.
Change bad.

I’ve been seeing the new look-and-feel for the past month or so. I kind of like it.
What I don’t like about it is that on the left hand side, there are options for images, books, everything… but not just “web”. So if you select one of the other options, you can’t go back to just Web from the left side. Sure, you can click on it on the top, but you can do that for images and whatnot, too.
10+ Times per day. That’s 70+ clicks per week, etc, etc.
