I think I invented a new drink. Help me name it.

If it isn’t a new drink, help me too.
Ingredients are:

Vodka : shot glass worth or more to liking.
Pomegranant juice: a third.
Ginger ale: two thirds
(ice, optional)

I’ve been thinking of adding some hot element into it ( as I cannot find the Hot ginger ale’s that have been mentioned in Ginger Ale or Ginger Beer threads of past.) so any suggestions on a dash of cayenne pepper or hot sauce would be appreciated.

Names, por favor.

My friends son suggested Backwash but this is too dignified to be called that.

Flaming Moe?

The General Granite

The Movie Star

(Ginger from Gilligan’s Island)

Flaming Mo is not what I am looking for. It isn’t swishy enough.
C’mon people.

If you find a good source of heat-Atomic Sunrise.

Make like a Tequila Sunrise.

Red Hot Russian

Pinko Commie? (red from pomegranates, commie from vodka)

Pretty rude name… but there you go!

Pepper vodka.

What is Atomic sunrise?

That’s basically a Pomegranate Moscow Mule. A version with grenadine instead of straight pom juice (and, like yours, without the lime) is known to some as Gilligan’s Revenge.

Ooooh, never heard of it.

Having never tried vodka before, I Prairie organic Vodka from Minnesota. Organic to save the Earth as it kills my liver.

Oooooh, and here I thought I was sooo clever.
Nuts.

Thanks.

You can’t get Stewart’s down there? Heck, we get it here in the middle of nowhere, in plain ol’ grocery stores.

As far as names, I got nothin’ for ya.

What about something acknowledging it’s mythological roots?
Demeter’s Regret
Hades Trick
6 months in Hell (good if you add the hot sauce)
Orion’s Bride

Yeah - Absolut Peppar usually just used for Bloody Marys, but could work here if you want to give it a shot. When I moved, I had a stock-the-bar party. Someone left me a bottle of Absolut New Orleans. It’s the best tasting infused vodka I’ve ever had. It’s mango and black pepper. It’s also completely unavailable, since it was limited edition. I wish I still had some…

Who cares if it’s close to another drink? Think of how close to each other all the martinis are…

Anyhow, I’d call it a Red-Headed Ruskie.

A Pom-Pom Screw?

Aw, you still are. You did find it for yourself.

And indeed, it’s not strictly the same as either of those, though it does occur to me that adding the ginger slices would be one way to boost the bite.

sunny siberia?

I like this.

I also like the Red Headed Ruskie. ( non hot version)
