I think I might actually manage to finish my X-mas shopping a month early...

and I’m giddy with glee!

However, I’m a bit worried. If I finish a month early, then I’ll have all the extra time to second guess my choices…

What if I start returning stuff, and swaping it out for other stuff, and then I decide that I liked the old stuff better but then when I go to exchange again it’s gone and I have to get something else and this year winds up being a gong show with me frantically trying to finish on the 24th, just like every year past. :eek:

<gulp>

I think I’ll go lie in my bed and pull my covers over my head.

I handmade all my gifts. I’ve only got a few left (some photo framing) so I’m almost done too.

I can’t really rethink them, though. :slight_smile:

Wow. I’m pretty sure I couldn’t make anything that anyone would actually want as a Christmas gift. Well, except perhaps a lemon bundt cake, but that seems like sort of an odd present…

The both of you can just bite me.

your humble TubaDiva
who is usually the last person in the store on Christmas Eve. It’s a TRADITION.

Me too! Me too!

That’s why this year is such and anomily! Perhaps the moon is in my court or something…

Oddly enough I’m ahead of schedule as well this year. I also make gifts but I’m usually cobbling them together frantically a day or two before Christmas.

Weird.
Oh, and some of my homemade gifts are food. It’s the one thing I’m sure everyone will like. (I hope.)

In typical guy fashion I noticed the date was November 19 and reflected I only had four more weeks before I needed to start shopping for gifts.

I do all my shopping on the Internet. No mess, no stress. I just have to order everything with enough time to spare.
