I think it may have been a mistake to eat the whole bag...

…of mixed veggies - Broccoli, Cauliflower, and Carrots. They were really good, and apparently I got 4 servings in, but my tum-tum is protesting right now. I think it’s gonna be a bumpy night. Good thing there’s no one here but me and the dogs.

Well, at least you can eat your dessert with a clean conscience. :stuck_out_tongue:

Mmmm. I could eat a whole bag of broccoli right now.

That was a common lunch for me last summer. Either that or a similarly sized bag of carrots. Dip optional.

My advice is to drink plenty of fluids.

This too shall pass.

Indeed. The dog just left.

You can always blame the dog…!

Light a match. Or a candle.

I drove about 450 miles one time, snacking on a bag of cut’n’peel carrots on the way. When I reached my destination, my jaws were very sore, and I was completely untroubled by constipation.

Indeed - I expect it will hardly touch the sides.

Don’t they have the sequence backwards here?

I’m convinced that this whole “eat 5 pieces of fruit and veg a day” bullshit is just a ploy by the manufacturers of toilet paper, antacids and/or air freshener.

If I ate 5 pieces of fruit and veg a day, my house would be sealed off as a biohazard area.

I can sympathize. Saturday night I didn’t feel like cooking so I had an entire bag of Green Giant baby Brussels sprouts in butter sauce (which is supposed to be about 3 servings) with just a few shrimp as my protein. The next morning I was doubled over in pain from a stubborn gas bubble. Fortunately for my co-workers, it passed quickly before I had to go to work.

Gotta love those cruciferous vegetables. The gift that keeps on giving.
