My first wife didn’t shave her arms or legs. I was fine with it. My current wife shaves everywhere. I’m fine with it.
“not attractive”=/=“ew, gross!”
And really, that’s my problem with it, because some men do say things like “gross!” as shorthand for “I’m not attracted to that woman.” Which is fairly horrible. “She was hideous!” No, she wasn’t. She was a normal looking woman who didn’t give you a boner. Calm down with that shit.
Anyone who says, “Ew gross!” in response to a woman with a penis also gets a mark against them in my book.
For the record, I don’t like it when men are called things like 'disgusting, gross, repulsive" when what the speaker actually means is, “unattractive,” or even, “socially off.”
Hell, I even shave the peach fuzz that grows on my arms. I just prefer things nice and smooth.
Maybe I’ll check out the pics when I get home later, but in general:
Pubic hair is good. I’d almost say necessary. If it’s a thick, black, three-inch jungle, maybe trim it a little, but I really would rather not see it go away entirely.
Armpit hair is maybe OK. I’m not really looking at armpits, so it doesn’t matter as much to me. The lighter the hair color, the less it would be an issue. (For example, I’m a guy with sparse and blonde armpit hair. If you see me from a distance on the beach, you might assume that I shave. A girl with the same configuration would not need to shave in my book.)
Leg hair is better off gone. I suppose it wouldn’t be a deal-breaker if my wife announced her intent to stop, but it would take some getting used to. Maybe I’d ask her to start wearing dark hose.
Arm hair shaving I thought was only for swimmers. Honestly, I’ve never seen a woman with enough arm hair that I thought it would be shaved… maybe those women are already shaving? Overall, I say keep it unless you keep being mistaken for a man.
Female gorillas have the confidence to wear that look and make it work. It’s a rare female human that does.
Even one with a mustache?
- I’ve said this 100 times, merely shaving your vulva does not mean you or your partner has a prediction for very young girls and I wish we would stop categorizing it that way. It’s rude and obnoxious, especially when the people are consenting adults and you are implying one of them is a pedophile. It’s sex. We all like what we like.
- Personally I think everyone should at least trim their hair. Trim armpit hair, facial hair, pubic hair. It doesn’t have to be shaven but it doesn’t have to be aggressive either.
- Women are most certainly hairy. We just are accustomed to removing it.
- If you don’t like a particular woman’s hair, I agree: no need to call her gross. Just say she’s not to your liking and move on.
- Women, don’t just other women for shaving or not shaving! Just leave them be!
Eh. There’s way worse things than a bit of leg hair.
I prefer seeing my wife unshaven, but she drives me out of my gourd with lust either way.
Only with the prior consent of these women. Otherwise, please don’t be embracing anybody.
Human armpit hair and pubic hair is kinda gross, smelly, and unfortunate looking on everyone IMO. However I’m far too lazy to do anything but hack mine down maybe 2-3x a month. It looks and feels less repulsive when it’s not long and straggling. Also shaving my legs is a good exfoliater.
Men don’t seem to care much and if they do I tell them to shut up. I date a lot younger than the crowd at the SD though. Young women not shaving anything is pretty common these days.
‘Erotic’ my hairy ass…
Hairy asses is where I draw the line on female body hair. I just can’t do hairy asses.
I like the bare look. Scalp, eyebrows and eyelashes are the only hair I want to see on a woman.
Most ironic screen name/post ever!
I did not find their unshaven bits attractive.
In the winter, when the temperature is down into freakin’ freezing levels and the humidity level is about 1%, I fight eczema. No matter how many humidifiers I have, or how short and cool the showers are, my skin gets itchy and wicked dry. Shaving really irritates that, so I take advantage of the season of tights and boots to say the hell with it, and quit shaving for a month to six weeks. I figure that weeping, itchy, raw skin is more unattractive than some leg hair. I figure anyone who I like enough to be having sex with, will understand that and prefer my skin intact, too.
Weirdly, I have about eight total underarm hairs, so that’s a non-issue.
Yeah, I’ve heard that before in threads like this.
It looks nice to me. But then I was born back in the olden days, and have been around the block a few times. Different parts of the block, people style their body hair and foreskins differently. My preference is the more natural style. At the same time, I don’t prefer overall hairiness, where the person looks like they’re wearing a sweater and woolly trousers.
I didn’t mean it biologically, I meant it culturally. And just like every other one gets to, I embrace & love my modern, Western, post-agricultural, slim & body-hairless females culture*!*___
