I Think Luby's New Pricing Policy Sux!

I just got back from Luby’s and you wouldn’t believe what the one here is doing. You know normally Luby’s has their prices up on the wall so you can see how much say a cucumber salad cost. Well, when I went there today there were no prices by the items on the wall. And below on the sign it said prices available on request. Does Luby’s now think they are a exclusive ritzy place now? Yea right.

So I asked the lady with a hairnet for a cap how much was the cucumber salad? She gave me a blank stare and said she didn’t know. Great I thought. So I say forget it afterall they could have been charging 2.50 for cucumber salad and I wouldn’t know until I got my reciept.

I even ask the manager and he said it was to hard to place all those prices on that board. What kind of crud they have been doing before. Why the sudden change?

Now some of you are probably thingink WB you are just being difficult again but I don’t think so and I’ll tell you why.
Sure I could look at the end of the line when the lady hands me my receipt and say no thanks that is to much.

But “who” is Luby’s normal customer that’s right old people. Who usually are on welfare or on a tight budget. And usually are not as perceptive as they were when they younger. So I think this pricing policy sux because it is taking advantage of old people and that is just plain wrong in my book.

Anyway do ya’ll see what I saying?

I’ve only been to Luby’s once. When I got to the end of the line and found out that they charged me five cents a pat for butter, that pretty much finished Luby’s for me. I mean, cummon . . . . five cents isn’t exactly going to break my bank, but it’s the principle of the thing! Butter, and other condiments should be free.

So don’t shop there!
