What the hell does it matter? She’s not running for office, and anyone who factors her into their choice of candidate should have their voting priveleges cancelled.
That said, she’ll probably be an excellent first lady. She knows which knife and fork to use, and will probably bear up well under media scrutiny.
Words cannot begin to express the vast indifference I feel towards the subject of who gets to be “First Lady”.
Although, if she’s so outspoken, why is she being so reticent about releasing her tax returns? (not that this affects my support for JFK in any way).
By the way, do the Kerrys have a dog? And is it qualified to become First Canine, or will it disgrace itself by tugging on the leash and misbehaving like certain other Prime Pooches that have held the office recently?
I try to lighten the political debate just a smidgen with a discussion of Teresa Kerry. But I see some are so polarized that they can’t let anything go for even a tiny bit of time.
I never said elect Kerry because of his wife.
Reeder, you owe me a new irony meter. Mine just exploded.
And I never said don’t elect Kerry. DO elect Kerry. Elect a ham sandwich. Elect Darth Vader. Juse don’t elect Bush.
Isn’t that what mines do? Explode?

I am sorry.
I love her suit.
Throughout the Sacramento Bee article, Mrs. Kerry was called Heinz Kerry consistently. The stylebook of most newspapers call for married women to be called Lastname, after the first mention of the full name.
Is this odd construction standard for the Bee? Otherwise, what’s the point? Is it a slam?
I believe that’s what she prefers to be called.
What I find most interesting is that if Kerry is elected she will become the first African-American First Lady.
Mrs. Bush’s cookies sound better to me.

Pumpkin spice might be good, but nothing beats chocolate. NOTHING!
And we all know how well the Republicans respected Hillary Clinton for exhibiting those traits.
