Hehe, it looks like you’ve found the ghost of Pokey (or whatever Gumby’s horse’s name was). I didn’t even know Pokey had died
Curious. Your home may be built of a nexus of spiritual energy that will soon be sommoning dark and terrifying beings from across the worlds- I’ll be next.
If not, well I’d still like to hold a seance there.
Watch out for the ghostly manure.
Am I the only one who doesn’t believe in ghosts, but loves those ghostly type photos? I think that’s a cool pic, and even though my money’s on “reflected light,” I hope you have a lot of fun showing it around.
That’s nothin’. Check out this pic.

Fourth picture down, rjk on the couch. That was the hotel in Vegas. Check it out, I was there, there was nothin’ in the room like that. Spooky. Nobody knew anything about it until we checked the picture in the camera.
Oh, there was the fact that rjk was smoking, and a half a dozen other people, too. By the end of the night, it was so think in there it was like we were in one of the old lounge acts.
It’s hard to make out - you’re picture is small. But it looks like some light reflection onto the lens. It could also be some problem with the film stock, but I’d go for light reflection first.
They look eerie, but there’s nothing to it.
You guys don’t have to be trying to pull anything. I believe you’re completely sincere. I’m also sure you’re deluding yourselves.
Holy shit dude!!! There is a ghost on that guy’s hand. I think I can make out a face of some sort. This is weird…
Now that last one, that’s the cameraperson smoking. Seen that enough times to know for sure!
I’ve really enjoyed hearing some of these ideas…
Just thought I’d put out some things
1: the photo is in frame #10 in the negatives… there are pictures immediately on both sides with no trace of this phenomenon.
2: it appears in the negative, so it wasn’t produced only in that particular print (in addition, I had doubles made of everything.
3: the light seems to surround Dan (red shirt) and cover up my and Anthony’s face
4: it bears no resemblance to the whispy cloud of smoke in the picture linked below.
Like I said, I have a picture with lens flare (Thanks, St. Attila) Lens flare is caused by light reflecting off one or more of the lenses in the camera when the picture is taken. It’s not common, because it requires the light source to be at a certain angle. So:
- Yep, same with mine
- Yep, same with mine
- So? Dan’s in the middle of the picture. In mine, I have a nice nimbus around me, and a series of bright spots pointing toward me. It’s cool, but it’s not a ghost.
- Mine doesn’t either. They were joking. (The vegas ghost looks suspiciously like cigarette smoke, maybe from the person whose nose is the big blur in the upper right hand corner)
Of course it’s a dragon. I was just ethereal at the time.
Lens flares are often reflections of something that’s in the picture, rather thanm something outside it. The classic example is the “Washington UFO” picture, in which you can lie up each UFO with a streetlight lower down in the picture – the streetlkights, inverted through the center of the lens, are obviouysly the sources ofg the “UFOs” in the sky above.
With that in mind, please note that the Horse/Dragon head looks suspiciously like a mirror image of the guy on the left.
Muff, hon, have you considered the possiblity that maybe you’re all just psycho? It just looks like a camera malfunction thingy to me…course, I’m not the supernatural type. Then again, Dan is a weird person. Weird things happen to him. Weird things happen in Tally. Wheee…
you guys have a ghost, and I’m far, far, away…haha.
With CalMeacham’s hint, I now see it too. Look at the neck of the ‘horse’. In the middle you see a somewhat brighter spot. Pick up the ‘fog’ and move it slightly down and somewhat to the left and invert, so that that brighter spot fits the neck of the middle guy. You will see that the neck will now completely match the middle guy’s arms over the shoulders of the other two and the ‘head’ of the horse will match the shape of the shirt of the guy on the left, including the print on his shirt that mysteriously matches the darker spot in the horse’s head.
That’s all nuthin! Check out the ghost condom that showed up in these photos!!!
Yo Pammipoo,
Haven’t you ever heard the saying “If you don’t have anything nice to say about someone, then shut the hell up.” You need not say things about people you don’t even know. I don’t know why I am even justifying you with a response, but I feel I must. Call a quest to piss you off.
Thanks,
Omega007
Jeez, you been hanging out with Cartooniverse lately, Omega007?
My first thought when I saw that was smoke. My cousin and I used to make home movies all the time with a camcorder when I was in high school. Once we made a horror movie and to make the “ghost” I filmed car exhaust with the brake lights on (giving it an eerie red glow) and with a spot light on it (giving it a white glow). Light bouncing off smoke or steam makes some wicked looking shapes, but we had to film for over an hour to get what we wanted, cuz sometimes it would only work if you held the camera just right or had the light reflecting off it at just the right angle to be able to see anything.
This reminds me why I usually avoid MSPSIMS. Try this in GQ or GD and see where it gets you. Oh well.
Im sorry…I just do NOT see how the shape is an inverted image of the guy on the left…
Why isn’t this your sig, Silver Fire?
