My own political agenda, being right of center for Sweden, is still left of center for the U.S. But having dealt with **Rick ** off board, I can vouch that he’s a very good person. Maybe not one I’d agree with on politics, but certainly one I’d never hesitate to invite to bring the family and stay the weekend. We’d have beer and cordially agree to disagree on certain topics, while agreeing that we share a common view on others.
Now Shodan, OTOH, writes his “fun”, non-controversial pit OPs every now and then, but when trying to have a serious discourse, he’ll do a drive by and sign off with his feeble

The fawning over his non partisan rambling is inecplicable to me. It reads like something made up to be humerous, not as true comedic. HIs paragraph breaks, stylistic choices… well, it’s all playing to the peanut gallery, and I’m surprised so many well read Dopers fall for it.

Did I hear Harris correctly? She is stating that “someone” in the media (and didn’t she almost say Democratic or liberal media-she stumbled right before saying media) KEPT this from the Republicans?

So if FuxNews can make a number of “mistakes” assigning Foley to the wrong party, they can put it in the mind of the very large number of voters stupid enough to keep voting Republican that this pedophilia was perpetrated by a Dem. Not at all, they are very organized and disciplined about " cover it up, change the focus, deflect the blame, and talk about anything but what matters.", the way they ALWAYS are. They are incredibly good at that. It would be impressive if it didn’t suck so hard.
