I vow never to use the EDTI function...whose in?

Since the edit function is now availabel, posts seem to have lost their personlaity.
Everone is using it and their is never any mistakie’s anymore.
I, persnoly vow to mever use the feature, in an effort to keep the boards more personal and less 'perfeck".

Anyyone else in?

Previewe is good enoyugnh, we dont’ kneed the edit button also.

I can’t catch all my mistakes, no matter how much I try. My fingers are once again typing words I don’t intend to, and the sentences look alright when I examine them. I couldn’t post if I decided not to post unless the sentence structure was perfect. The old brain ain’t what it used to be. I won’t be worrying about corrections, unless I hit the submit button instead of preview.

EDIT FEATURE?!? We don’t need no steen-keeng edit feature!

People who edit smell funny.

People who edit smell funny.

You can say that again.

I’ll try, honestly.

There is no edit button.

So who is this funny you smell?

Stinking edit! One of my favorite excuses for posting incredibly lame or totally inaccurate information is saying I hit “Post Reply” instead of “Go Advanced”.

Bah! Again “bah” I say. Edit if for people concerned iwht spelling and not the loftier matters such as… um, speed?

Okay, apparently not only am I typo-prone, but blind.

Where is the edit button anyway?

I resolve never to use the EDTI function. However, I might be tempted to use the EDIT function.

I’m in. If I’m too damn dumb to (a) research what I write or (b) proofread what I type, I don’t deserve to look any smarter than I really am.

Also…with edit, we won’t have great mistakes like “penis ensues” That would truly be a loss. I don’t care enough to edit anyway.

I like the edit function. It gives me another field to be strange in.

That’s my reason, as well.

          :smack:

Their’s an edit function?

If my post appears to be coherent in preview, I don’t bother reading it again when it gets added to the thread. If there’s a mistake after that, it’s unlikely that I’ll be back within the next 5 minutes. Besides, I don’t mind using the ol’ :smack: every so often…it’s sorta fun, really.

There is something in my brain that makes me completely unable to spot mistakes on preview, but they leap out at me nanoseconds after hitting submit.

I for one welcome our edit function overlords.
