I want a DEC PDP11 (an old computer). And I live in the UK. And it would be good if it was free, or very cheap. Does anyone have any idea how I could find one? And/or know what very cheap would be?
Cheers

Here you go sport, Ebay to the rescue! It’s strictly cash and carry though.
PDP11 with many peripherals and manuals - Item # 2017441249
$ 100. -
NOTE: For pictures visit www.fas.harvard.edu/~cudney/pdp11.html
I am selling a large quantity of PDP11 related hardware and literature. WHRB received it all as a gift several years ago, but now we have both no use and no room for it, so it must go.
I myself know nothing about using any of this equipment, so I cannot vouch for the functionality of anything here, except that some lights turn on and a humming noise starts when the key is turned to the ON position.

Thats the problem. While I might risk $100 on the chance of gettin it to work, picking it up from Massachusetts to bring back to the UK would be a little tricky.
