Heh, I knew it wasn’t a hoax when I posted, because I had just watched the school representative do the dance on TV about how the hitting was just taps on the back, oh except for the one who got slapped. It just angered me that such a small group 35/850 were being singled out for abuse on “spirit day”. And maybe it wasn’t anti-semitism on the part of the kids. However, I immediately flashed back to a couple of years ago. My daughter was the manager and lifeguard at a neighborhood pool in that school district. She was chatting with a couple of middle school age girls one afternoon and they asked if she had a boyfriend and what was his name. She told them his name which happens to be distinctly hispanic. The girls were shocked and couldn’t believe that her parents would ‘let’ her date a Mexican.
I blame the parents.
