Yes, I could record my voice in .wav, and insert those files between the .mp3’s, but I’d like to do it ‘live.’

Anyone know if something like live recording is possible on a home computer CD-R?

You have to buy mixing software. Head on down to your local computer/electronics store, look at the price, and gasp.
