I am a huge fan of Britains’ Got Talent and America’s Got Talent. WAY fun.
And yes, I do like to see the expressions on the judges faces when they are blown away, and the audience reaction. IN A PICTURE - IN - PICTURE in the corner, not INSTEAD of the cool act that they are reacting to!!! PLEASE! Particularly in the case of visual acts like dancers. PLEASE!!!
If anyone out there has the ear of any of the directors of these shows, please pass it along, its driving me crazy.
This is why I quit watching America’s Got Talent. It could have been a really good show, but the camera work was horrible, and they kept cutting away from the performer to show the judges and the audience, and you didn’t even get to see the good bits. And then they went through several rounds of eliminations where they hardly showed any performances at all–it was mostly backstage and judging and who cares? I don’t care if they discover the most talented person in the world who can sing opera and juggle flaming chainsaws while riding a unicycle backwards and training a dog to run through an obstacle course, I will never watch this show again.
The only way I can watch this show is to FF through the “heartwarming backstory”, which means I can watch the show in about twenty minutes. I want to see just what the judges see, not how much they love their mama. But the focus on the judges and especially the obnoxious audience has me teetering on abandoning the series altogether.
I lukes like the chronicle of the thread will be that the should include the kings of the show more, the dancers, and be more jude-icious when showing the other guys.
Awesome post for expressing what I was thinking. I was so clueless, I thought this was going to be a thread about a Bible production!
Or should I say it was a Revelation to discover what this thread was really about.
Regardless of how the OP and certain other people feel about the camera work on the television show “America’s got talent”… Psalm people really don’t care.
