I was just cast in Enchanted April!

Okay, so it’s not a multi-million dollar acting job, but a part in a small community theater. And I don’t have a trailer. But at least I get to wear nice period costumes from the 1920s and play the part of Mellersh, the solicitor.

But hey, at least I didn’t have to sleep with the producer or anything to get cast.

Congratulations Fish. I hope all goes well. I loved the film version.

I saw a local production of Enchanted April a few months ago, and greatly enjoyed it. Congratulations on your part.

Cool beans. Enjoy your self.

We had our first read-through tonight. It was very gratifying to see that of the people who auditioned, three of them were cast whom I wanted to work with. I’d done a show with them before and knew them, knew they were reliable.

Of course it was disappointing tonight, too, because the woman who asked me to audition for the show wasn’t cast. But that’s the way it goes, I guess.

Thanks for the good wishes. Now I just have to figure out what makes this Mellersh guy tick.
