I was just thinking...

Well, don’t wear yourself out, Rilch!

Weeks ago, I made a list of all the books people have mentioned on here that I’d like to check out when I have a chance. Now I can’t find it. I’ll ask Mr. Rilch tomorrow. I can’t imagine that he would throw away anything with my handwriting on it. I hope I’m right. What makes it worse is my penchant for erasing the memory after I’ve done a search, so I can’t check Amazon for the books I’ve looked up in the past.

Today at work, my supervisor really went to town on me, pointing out mistake after mistake…except that I’m not sure all those mistakes were mine! And one of the “mistakes” was doing something that I swear on my mother I was never told not to do. And a couple times I asked how I should categorize something, and I got a reaction like “There’s only one option here.” Obviously not! Finally I said, “Do I do anything right?”

I’m trying to save up so I’ll have some walking around money at the ComicCon, but it doesn’t look good. My paycheck is about $60 too small.

I’m spending yet another Friday night sober and straight. And please don’t say that’s a good thing. To me, it’s not.

My niece (11 mo. younger than I) is visting my parents. She called this evening just as I was sitting down to eat. We still have things in common! Woohoo!

I want a half-gallon of Breyer’s neapolitan.

I like to hang out at the train station on my lunch hour. It’s not seedy, believe me, but this guy who works there is always hanging around me. I hate being forced out of something I like to do.

My co-workers turned off Larry Elder this afternoon when I was out of the room. They’d rather listen the same old songs on FM being regurgitated over and over. Phooey.

The bedroom is a sea of clothes, some dirty, some clean, some needing to be mended.

Where do you cash a money order? (And will I get busted for crossposting?)

What’s cross posting?

ok, nevermind I figured it out thank you.

Forgot to mention: I’m reading The Martian Chronicles, and man is it good.

Breyer’s? In San Diego? Rotsaruck!

I’m in LA. I see Breyer’s in all the markets, but it’s way out of my price range.

Really? I thought Breyer’s was still regional to Philly. Huh. But then, I should have known - you can get Tastykakes out here, for chrissake.

Mind you, I’m not complaining. Mmmmm… butterscotch Krimpets…
