I think you may be assigning too much credit to someone would say something of that nature;)
Actually, Greensboro. Er, Pleasant Garden, which means if you know of the place you know what I mean and if you don’t know of the place it doesn’t really matter. I really do not have the worst of it, I know, but I live in SE Greensboro. If you are not quite sure of SE Greensboro think of cows, cows, cows and a church on every corner. It is just so frustrating because I live about 20 minutes from downtown where the UNCG campus is. It is also frustrating because I have lived in many different cities and states, where Christianity really did not play any sort of vital social role.
I will also raise you the tale of this girl in my English class last year. My teacher, a very open minded liberal who shares my view of religion, decided to have a discussion on what the traditional view of the “apocalypse” would be for the students. Somehow some girl and I branched off into a side discussion. I asked her why she believed so much in Christianity and she responded with “Because I was saved. When I was five.” Too bad I never got around to asking her how she knew she was saved!
I lived in Brown Summit (or Browns Summit, depending on who you talk to) for awhile, so I know the area.
Not to those of us who downloaded it G
I’ll send my file to anyone who e-mails me for it.
I didn’t think of that when I made my offer. I don’t think the Chick claim is valid as I’m doubt that actual Chick artwork was used (tho if I see example, I’ll gladly reverse that claim.)
If necessary, could a mod fix my prior post?
well, I went to the notice on the guy’s site & yeah, tjhere is definitely some Chick art borrowing in it. Darn!
THink is- the non-Chick art is SO well done I thought all the art was original.
