Last weekend, the finals of the US Figure Skating Championships were held here in San Jose, and my family had tickets. This was the final event before choosing the Olympic team.
I’m really pleased that we have two local skaters going to the Olympics: Karen Chen and Vincent Zhou. Karen Chen is ultra local. She learned to skate at the same rink my son goes!
