"I wish I'd had the internet back when [tv show] was on the air..."

Scarecrow and Mrs King, and MacGyver.

I know. Weird, huh?

Speaking of dinosaur shows, it would have been fun to discuss and debate Land of the Lost during its first run, if I had been older and there had been an internet. The pylons, the crystal combinations, the pocket universe physics… amazing stuff.

But yeah, Twin Peaks was the first thing I thought of, too.

Murder One for me.

Just about any “water cooler” show that aired in the 40 or so years between the time TV became widespread and the introduction of the internet would qualify for this thread. For example, if the net had been around during the 70s, there probably would’ve been a lot of discussion about the latest episodes of “All in the Family,” “MASH,” and early SNL. During the 80s, in addition to the shows already mentioned, I just know threads about “Cheers” and “Moonlighting” would’ve been popular.

My thread about “Quark” would have been EPIC…
