Today is actual costume day at work. The bottoms of my tentacles are wet because it’s also raining, but I think I’m at least a solid second for the costume contest so far.

although a friend of mine posted on fb that 69 will now be known as 96, due to the increased cost of eating out
I don’t know how many kids we got last night. It was raining so I guess that cut down on how many were out there. Which is good because the stoopid hounds from hell we out in the living room and barked their fool heads off every time somebody came to the door.
I had Sah-son take the candy I didn’t want out to the bowl and told him to bring me back a comparable amount of something I do like. So he takes out about 25 candy bars to them and brings me back 2 - TWO! milkyways. He says he’ll bring me more after the trick or treaters stop. So what is left - nothing but twix bars because everybody else in the house grabbed all the good stuff.
It’s raining hard YUK I hope it stops before I have to go out in it.

Halloween was great! The rain stopped around noon, and the kids were out in force. Gave out a crapload of KitKats to the costumed critters and had a blast.
I’m in school. I’m going to be very busy today. One week until the craft fair!
I survived the web thingy! Go Me! Now it’s time for some N.O.L. Whatever shall it be? Some kind of sammich I guess. I have a brisket with the seasonings simmerin’ away. Later on new N.O.T., carrots and then cabbage shall be added. Corned beef for dindin on a dreary day sounds like a good thing.

The rain has started. Sounds so nice hittin’ the awnin’ on the back porch. I have windows open in the livin’ room and study cause it can’t rain into those two rooms bein’ as the windows face the backside of da cave and are therefore covered by the back porch awnin’. NIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIICE! I think I shall need to declare an early end to irk in just a bit.

I think I am going out to lunch again tomorrow, this is getting to be a habit. All my friends are going through crappy stuff right now and so they all need to get out.
I need to get busy with some stuff. I hate doing stuff.

I am not having a good Half-Price Candy Day.
By noon, all that was left at the grocery store was those peanut butter things in orange or black wax paper wrappers.
Worse, I manage to brick my old iMac. DH wanted a computer to plug into the sewing machine to do embroidery patterns and digitizing. I had an old copy of Windows XP and a license, so I thought it would be easy to put it on the Mac with Boot Camp. The install disc is corrupt and the installation process just hangs. :mad:
Restarting the Mac gives no startup chime, so the usual options like holding the eject key or a mouse button to eject the bad disc or holding Option to select the OS X partition to boot are not available.

So I get this call today and I thought it was a call I was waiting for and instead I get a man with a foreign accent who asks for me by name.
Then he proceeds to tell me he is calling from the government health care program and he has good news for me because I have money coming to me because of having side effects from some medicine I have been taking or from having complications after surgery.
OH!!!
Then he wanted to know if I have had any side effects from medicine or any recent surgeries. This is because the government wants to give me some money.
So I told him I never get sick, I never take medicine and I’ve never had surgery.
Don’t these assholes ever give up?
I have more numbers in my reject list than I have in my phone book.
Unfortunately my phone sends rejected calls to voice mail instead of ignoring them. There has to be another way. My old phone would hang up on them.
It really upsets me though that he has my name to go with the number.
