This is my speculation. Maybe some of you have read articles about it or have personal knowledge. Surprisingly, I haven’t seen anything about this online.
In the pre-Internet days, a celeb could bang groupies or whatever, and about the worst someone could do was tell tales. I suppose a Polaroid or something could be snapped, but the celeb would likely notice.
Now, smartphones, online streaming, etc., can make any groupie an instant celeb porn publisher. I wonder if famous people have to be a lot more careful now about grabbing a quickie with a stranger? What do you think/know?

Most celebs have sex with their mirrors. Not sure how smartphones would affect this.
About all that smartphones, social media etc. have changed is the ease and speed of transmitting such images. A small camera that could have caught, say, Lindsay blowing her driver behind a club was a possibility 25 years ago, and any of a dozen tabloids or sleazy magazines would have published it.
There was a big flap about camera phones and locker rooms, too, maybe ten years back. Haven’t seen any outstanding outbreak of booty shots from that source.
There isn’t a big outbreak of celebrity porn; most of the porn that does get out was taken by the celebrity/their girl/boyfriend.
Celebrities are like everyone else: the prefer to have sex in private. So as long as they keep the shades down, it’s not going to be a problem, and if not, they run the same risk if a celebrity left the shades down 40 years ago.
The only real difference is that any material can be spread far more quickly. But if there’s nothing to be spread around, you’re safe.
