It appears that ICE is pulling out of Minneapolis. Despite their blahblahblah, I’m sure it’s because of the really bad publicity they’re getting. It doesn’t mean they’re leaving completely, and I see where they’re terrorizing smaller towns now, like Coon Rapids (pop. 63K) which is a bit north of here. It’s where we got our cat. Fucking thugs is all they are.

Not advocating it. I didn’t mean to imply that it would be a good idea. But with a spotter and a paintball gun with good range, the shooter could be well concealed. Just seems like something ne’er do wells would be doing.
Yeah, I’ve never shot one, but I doubt any would have enough range to keep you safe from these maniacs.
Just looked it up- 75 to 150 feet for accuracy, but much further if shot at an upward angle.
Frankly I’m surprised that they are still accurate after 75 feet. But, whatever.
And if you used paintballs with UV dye in them, even after they think they’ve washed the paint off, it would make it a whole lot easier to find them off duty and ID them. Especially if you hit things like their shoes, which are probably the same shoes they wear regularly.
Of course, that’s likely to back fire if/when any of that UV dye gets on non-ICE members (ie protestors, bystanders).
But since ICE agents tend to walk in groups, you don’t have to be that accurate. If you have 5 of them walking down a street, that’s a pretty big target. Aim for the center and you’ll probably hit someone even if you’re 5 feet one way or the other.
A guy faced jail for throwing a sandwich at ICE, remember. (The government failed the felony indictment attempt so took him to trial for a misdemeanor, and he was acquitted, but they were going to extremes.)

ICE is now literally ripping off Ted Bundy’s MO.
I just learned that ICE is planning to open a facility outside the small town of Oakwood, Georgia. That the infrastructure to support such an enterprise does not exist is going to be the least of their problems if it opens, in part because another source said that IT MAY HOUSE CHILDREN.
FWIW, I just contacted the elected officials in this area; I feel that strongly about it.
They are planning to open one right outside Detroit Metro Airport in Romulus MI. All the better to load detainees on the first available flight. Neither the mayor or Romulus nor the state senator knew of these plans beforehand.
There’s a protest Monday. I’m going.
I don’t understand the rationale for denying clergy, legal council, and elected officials from having free entry into these places. Of course they want their neglectful conditions to go unrecorded. I believe that the detention part of the business should be separate from the apprehension part and be closely monitored. They should never have more detainees than they can humanly house. And who is making sure that the children they round up aren’t just completely traumatized?
They don’t give a shit about kids. Those kids are just pawns to use to attack their parents. That was made abundantly clear during Trump’s last administration, when he was intentionally separating them from their parents as a key part of his immigration strategy.

Having aired this story on See-BS (OK, I still watch “60 Minutes”) just two days ago, you just know that the children are going to be separated from their parents, and likely each other, and not given age-appropriate food or medical care, or any education. It will probably make the border camps from a few years ago look like the Five Seasons.
TL : DW - These three people are believed to be the youngest survivors of the death camps. Their mothers arrived pregnant and hid their pregnancies right to the very end, and they were born, under different circumstances in each case, just as the camps were being liberated in late April, 1945. Regardless of your political stanch, harming innocent children of a certain group in order to motivate others in that group to change their behavior is pretty much the definition of terrorism.
Remember, it’s Democrats and liberals that torture children to harvest adrenochrome . . . not that that should bring to mind a certain phrase.
