I came in on a radio show argument today about a critically acclaimed silent movie that is apparently an Oscar contender. The Artist was mentioned in the discussion as a different movie.
Any ideas of what this would be?
I don’t think it’s actually silent, but could they have been talking about the upcoming Silent Life, about the last days and death of silent star Rudolph Valentino?
I can’t find a reference to any other silent film of recent vintage. I think Silent Life must be it.
That does seem to fit the description, such as it was. I’m guessing this is right, as it was supposedly a little experimental but not without a plot, set in another time. The discussion went on for a few minutes after I tuned in, but never mentioned the name. Thanks.
