I'd like to introduce our newest guest: this one's a keeper

What type of contribution would you expect from a user like this?

Personnally, I think the mods should contact the user. Obviously, she/he entered the password in the user field and the username in the password field. An honest mistake that could happen to anyone.

Reminds me of the old joke: Did you hear about the guy who couldn’t afford vanity plates? He had his name changed to EVF 4698.

MIME says it decodes as “Rump Hoist”

So let’s all welcome Rump Hoist to the family! Be welcome, Rump Hoist!

Perhaps…a 'Bot?

All I can say is that’s an jolly good password. :stuck_out_tongue:

Yup, that’s a good one Margie!

Who uses a password THAT random for anything other than a mainframe?

I think it’s just a really, really good username (except if you’re into vanity searches)

If it wasn’t for the question mark it would make perfect sense.

Isn’t he the one that had the hilarious thread about the…

Oh, no, wait. I’m confusing him with esAT7aF6a?uxa7. Silly me! I can’t believe I mixed those up. Boy, is my face red!

I do. For my Yahoo! account. No, there’s nothing of value in it, but it’s an account made before they changed the username rules to exclude capital letters. A while back, someone daily tried to crack the password–I knew this because when I tried to log in, I was told the account was temporarily locked for 24 hours due to excessive password attempts. I probably went overboard, but I created the most random password I could think of so he couldn’t just brute-force it. Now I have it committed to memory so there’s no reason to change it back.

Oddly enough, my bank account is a dictionary word followed by a digit. Why not change it to the highly secure Yahoo! one? Laziness.
