I’m the list mom for a mailing list for bilingual families. The list is popular - so popular, in fact, that it’s becoming something of a victim of its own success; when things get especially busy for a while, many members unsubscribe because they feel it’s too much e-mail. (A digest version is available, but unfortunately some people leave without looking into that.)
As a result I’ve been asked to consider setting up a web-based forum as an alternative to the mailing list. We know we can’t possibly host this on our machines here at home, where the mailing list lives, because our link simply wouldn’t tolerate it. So if I’m going to do this, I’ll have to use one of the public forums out there - like World Crossing or our old temporary home at Bboy.
Anybody have a recommendation or a favorite to share?
