Has anyone wanted schools to teach an alien seed version of intelligent design, where aliens created life (or at least humans)?
There must be someone who would like this taught (Raelians, whatever happened to them?).
Do Scientologists believe in ET origins for humanity? I seem to recall that they do, and if so they’d be the most likely candidate for that kind of thing.
I doubt individual writers like Danniken and Lynn Picknett and Clive Price would be trying to push their theories onto schools.
Well the theory of Panspermia, whereby life was originally established on earth via comets or asteroids, doesn’t necessarily imply an intelligent design.
As for small cults, they generally don’t hold much sway over local school boards.
