I have this vague memory of a hit R&B or Soul song from the early 1990s that had a chorus that went something like, “Heeeeeeere we go… I’m goin through the same thing, Heeeeeere we go, Don’t wanna play the same game.”
Of course I might have misremebered the lyrics, but I’m pretty sure I remember that this group or singer did a guest appearance where he/they sang this song on “Family Matters” at a high school dance.
Every once in a while this song pops into my head, and I wish I knew what it was so I could exorcise it when it does pop in, plus, I kind of like the song. I’ve googled pretty hard on it, and haven’t found anything, so this is my last resort.
