ID this maybe-famous photo that I can't find again

I saw this photo somewhere on-line in the past year, and I’m trying to find it again.

It’s black and white, maybe French, and I had the impression it was shot during the '60s from the clothing styles.

It’s on a wide sidewalk, or maybe a pier or something. It shows, from the back, a family walking along as though we’re following them. Left to right: Dad, Mom, young son.

Dad is wearing a shirt with vertical, black-and-white stripes; Mom is wearing a shirt with horizontal, black-and-white stripes; and the young son is wearing a shirt with a black and white checkerboard pattern. I.e., the son is a mix of the two of them.

It made a big impression on me, and I can’t think where I saw it. It was probably on one of the many photography blogs I follow, but I’ve searched through as many of them as I can, and I don’t find it anywhere.

Any suggestions as to what it might be?

Next time come back with a hard question.

How genetics works

I googled for “family stripes” and found the image, then googled again for “how genetics works” and found dozens of the image. I just linked to the first one in the list.

Damn! I’d been googling things like family black white vertical horizontal stripes shirts and getting nothing. Guess I was overcomplicating it.

Thanks, Snowboarder Bo!

Your welcome. It is a nifty photo.
