ID this mid-eighties beach movie with volleyball and "iko iko"

Friends and I were trying to remember the name of this last night, but nobody could come up with it and IMDB is a lost cause. It’s a mid-eighties beach movie - I’d estimate around '86 or '87 - and I think volleyball played a part in the plot. The main thing we remembered about the movie is that a bunch of the characters keep singing “iko iko” (“my flag boy and your flag boy/sitting around the fire/my flag boy says to your flag boy/gonna set your flag on fire/hey now, hey now, hey now, hey now/iko iko away”).

Someone has to know this!

Is it Side Out, from 1990?

Nope, although it’s close in tone and vibe to that one.

Satisfaction, maybe?

Satisfaction was my first thought; Justine Bateman’s band played “Iko Iko” at least once, and a lot of it was on/near a beach. I don’t specifically recall any volleyball being played, but then again, about ten minutes into the movie my mind was occupied with contemplating suicide and I may have missed a plot point or two.

That’s it for sure!
