So I auditioned for a play yesterday and two women auditioning for it did the same monologue (The second woman came in late and didn’t see the first woman’s audition). It was a woman eulogizing her grandmother, it began with her love for making lemon meringue pie and ended with the suggestion that her dying act was to take a bite from a slice on her hospital bed stand. “She died with a sweet taste in her mouth.” Does this ring any bells for anyone?
Could it be this?

I guess that must be it. Thanks!
I don’t know for sure. Just guessing.
