Here’s what I remember…it was one of those two-minute morality shorts, probably mandated by the government, they used to wedge in between “The Hair Bear Bunch” and “Hong Kong Phooey”. It was about individuality. They showed the same episode every week.
A bunch of cats are standing around, when a sheep walks up. One of the cats says grumpily “The only thing that counts is bein’ a cat!”. The sheep whips out an abacus and says “The only thing that counts are these!”
YES! I remember it! But I’ll be damned if I could tell you what it was called, or anything else about it. The memory of its existance had been buried deep in my subconscious until you mentioned it.
I’ll spend my 500th post to list something else I just remembered about it. I think at the end, the sheep says something like “Be someone special - be yourself”
Oh, just remembered something else! After the sheep rebelled, a bunch of the cats turned out to be other kinds of animals wearing cat costumes (they took them off after the sheep showed up).
