ID this puzzle

There’s a puzzle which consists of four square tiles, and each edge of the tiles has half an animal (such as a cow) on it. The object of the puzzle is to arrange the tiles so that the front halves and back halves of the animals match up at the places where the edges meet.

Does anyone know what this puzzle is named?

Tangram?

Tangrams are a square dissected into a number of polygonal pieces that you assemble to make shapes. The one I’m thinking of has pictures of animals on it, all the pieces are square, and you have to match the different halves of the animals. It’s like a four-piece triazzle.

Is it the “Horse and Jockey” puzzle?

I’m afraid I don’t have shockwave, but IIRC the horse and jockey puzzle involves putting a strip of paper with jockeys on it onto a piece of paper with horses on it. The puzzle I’m describing has four squares which must be arranged into a larger square, such that at each edge the different halves of the animals match up.

I’ve seen such a puzzle, only with 9 squares (in 3D, no less) but I don’t know what it’s called.
