ID what may be an Australian/New Zealand film

I remember only a little from it. A fellow makes his way through a city, repeating in some scenes, what someone in a previous scene said to him.

He runs into a cop for example, who curses at him and punches him in the stomach. In the next scene, the fellow says the same curse at someone else and punches them himself.

A band have him up on stage where he runs through all the comments people have made towards him again.

After that he has sex with a nurse and she gives birth. There’s not really much to those two scenes, but they round out what I saw of the film.

And yeah, the accents were from that part of the world (Australia, New Zealand) I won’t hazard a guess as to which was which, even after seeing a season of Flight of the Conchords. From the description above, I wasn’t able to get anything from Google either.

Sounds like Bad Boy Bubby. Good movie. Although you left out what I would have thought would have been the most memorable aspect - the main character spends the first 30 years of his life locked in his house by his mother, who uses him for sex. It’s a laugh riot of a film!

Thanks, that appears to be the one from the IMDB photo and plot synopsis, although clearly I tuned in just after he left his mum behind :dubious:
