Identify 1970s horror movie with three stories

In the 1970s (or maybe the very early 1980s), I caught a movie on TV. It told three unrelated (or very loosely related) horror tales, the only one of which I remember involved a curse from a Roma woman against the teenager who had killed her daughter in a car accident. Anyone remember this one?

The only trilogys I remember are Trilogy of Terror with Karen Black and my favorite-Creepshow 2.

There was a 70s movie called Asylum (the first non-kid movie I saw in a theater). It had four stories, but I don’t think it includes the one you mentioned. Others in the series are:
Dr. Terror’s House of Horrors (1965), Torture Garden (1967), The House That Dripped Blood (1971), Tales from the Crypt (1972), , Vault of Horror (1973) and From Beyond the Grave (1974).
Maybe it’s one of those?

Sound similar to Thinner.

Yeah, much like Thinner - but well before.

Thanks for the suggestions above, folks. Looks like there are more anthology horror movies than I thought. I’ll keep looking

Maybe you’re mixing details of Thinner with details of another story?

There’s a movie from 1972 that had three stories named Encounter with the Unknown.

The first story seems similar (sorta).

That’s it! Thanks. The other titles suggested seemed too scary (something I would have instinctively avoided as a nervous kid) but “Encounter with the Unknown” is the kind of title that could easily have lured me in (and obviously, I was confusing the details with “Thinner”).

Interesting, I went and looked through the titles on this page, but didn’t see a prospective match:

Turns out it’s because that movie isn’t on there. Seems like it should be. Anyone want to be a wiki editor?

done.
