This just popped into my head yesterday from a children’s book I read long ago and I can’t remember anything else about it, and it’s driving me crazy. I appeal to my fellow Dopers:
"The first three months of the year are Winter: January, February, March.
How do you know it’s Winter?
Your breath shows.
You’ve got a runny nose.
A Crocus grows right through the snow."
That’s all I got. This was accompanied by pictures - I remember the picture of the yellow crocus blooming out of the snow. I had a bunch of these books, and they always rhymed while teaching you things.
