Identify this men's? cologne - smells like soap

This is probably more IMHO than GQ, but feel free to change forums if you (mods) see fit.

The other day I was entering an elevator as another man exited and I got a whiff of a really nice smell that I am assuming was some kind of cologne. It smelled just like someone freshly washed with plain old soap and water, but it was a little bit stronger and it lingered so I don’t think it was just soap and water. I know that soaps have many different aromas, but the ‘plain’ soap it reminded me of was something like the soap that’s you’ll find in a nice hotel - that kind of generic ‘soap’ smell.

I want this.

Does anyone have any idea what product it could have been? As always, thanks in advance.

Hmmm… some soap is pretty strong and he may have put a bar in his dresser drawer. Anyhoo, to me, plain soap means French milled. If that’s the scent, it might help the people at the fragrance counter track down your mystery cologne.
