I danced with this guy, see, and wow–did he ever smell good! Not particularly masculine (or feminine either), but just soap-and-water clean. I subtly tried to find out what was causing this, but he was evasive … about that, anyway. The scent didn’t seem to be wafting off him as it might from lotion or cologne.
Any ideas of what the best bath soap might be for such long-lasting goodness?
You’re really going to have to give us more than that. There are plenty of soaps and bodywashes that have long-lasting scents.
Was it flowery? Or did it smell more “manly” (i.e., like a much subtler version of Brute or Old Spice?)
As far as body washes and soaps go, there are a few that market themselves as smelling nice, such as:
Axe body wash
Old Spice Endurance
Irish Spring
I have some goat milk lotion from Crabtree and Evelyn that I think smells like plain soap, like, say, Ivory. I didn’t like it much at first, because I don’t like strong scents (it was a gift) but it’s growing me, a little.
Now, my husband insists that when I’m wearing it, it smells like fruit. He claims that he can’t detect any smell when it’s in the bottle at all. He has a wonky sense of smell, but aybe it’s having some kind of reaction with my body chemistry. It doesn’t smell like fruit to me at all, in the bottle or on my skin.
