Identify this song, please

Heard on the radio today. Good driving guitar work. One part of it has what sounds like synth drums that do a fast roll, stop abruptly, but preceded (or possibly followed) by by high voices yelling “ow!”, or maybe “oh!”; so sort of like "Oh! ::fast roll-stop:: Oh! repeat. In part of the song it seems they’re repeating the word “slow”, especially at the end of the tune. I think I also heard a lyric about “put a left foot forward”.

I’m sure somebody will nail this immediately from my clear description. :o

Well, there’s no guitar at all, but this fits the rest: - YouTube

Not even close, I’m afraid, but thanks for trying. This is definitely a rock song and could even be from the 80s with that synth sound.

Is this it?

Oooooh, you’re an evil bastard!

Could it possibly be Ghost, by The Presets?

Not much guitar in this one, but it sounds like it might meet the rest of the criteria…
ETA: Never mind…that’s the same song that was in **TruCelt’s **link.

Are you sure you don’t want to change your answer?

The Stroke by Billy Squier?

Bingo! “Stroke”, not “slow”. Even cranked up in the car, I couldn’t make out the word. At least I got the decade right. Thanks!
